A few days in Boston, before my flight to Berlin.

It never occurred to me that a frozen lake could act like a bridge to an otherwise-unreachable island in the middle of the lake.

Second snow day. The Airbnb I stayed at had a 6-inch snowfall measurement thingy - it was completely buried. Finally, this is the east coast winter weather I was promised.

One month and only two snow days after returning to New York, I am now in Boston (and finally posting all of this). Next stop: Berlin, Germany.

First New York snow day, and first time I’d ever seen a partially-frozen lake.

My electric bike had a full battery the night before leaving home for more travel. Can’t leave it full for months, that harms the battery. How to use up the battery, I asked myself?
