Copenhagen, Denmark!
This ended up being my favorite city in Europe - if I were to move to Europe, I’d probably move here. So many bikes; easily more bikes than cars - my people. Pretty parks, pretty waterfront, decent English and decent people.
(I’m posting this, and everything after it, a little less than two months after the end of my trip.)

I took a bus from Berlin to Copenhagen. There is more water in the way than I thought - expected a bridge, but got a ferry!

A few miscellaneous photos of Berlin that defied easy categorization.
I don’t see myself living in Berlin. There’s a lot to like about the city: the parks are good, the prices are great, transit is great. It’s a tough thing to judge in only a few days, but I don’t think I’d fit into the social scene here very well. I could see other German cities working better for me - maybe Munich?
But first: Copenhagen, then Stockholm.

One especially interesting park, Tempelhofer Feld, was converted from an old airport. If you ever want to run across an airport runway, here’s your chance!
